With the easing of lockdown orders, fewer builders are lowering home prices. Unlike the housing recession in 2008, where almost 50% of builders cut prices to boost sales, only 22% lowered prices in April and just 15% lowered prices in May.
This shows that the housing industry is on the rebound and is set to lead the economy’s revival.
